Con-Goers - Applying Con Life in the Real World

Have you guys done this before? Give excuses to buy something you need, but it's really for your con-going? I used to do this, when I was younger, get backpacks that, during the school year, served as my bag for school, but its real purpose was to carry my stuff at the cons I went to. The backpack, has been an important part to one's con-going experience.
